If you were to cook the chicken on the stovetop, you’d have to go through a lengthy defrosting, but the Instant Pot doesn’t require the chicken to be thawed, so it’s a much faster and easier way to make dinner. If you didn’t plan ahead to defrost the chicken thighs in time to prepare it for dinner, that’s not a problem for the Instant Pot.
